Can you install a heated mirror in place of a non-heated mirror WITHOUT using the heat function?

Yes, you will be able to use the K-Source Replacement Side Mirror - Electric/Heated - Black, driver side, part # KS70608T, on your 2008 Toyota Avalon. The heating function will not work, but your power mirrors will.
