Will a Bak revolver OR a Rev hard rolling cover fit a ‘99-‘06 Silverado/Sierra short bed 6’ 6”? The bed seems to measure the same, so is it a difference in the side rails? Thank you.

Yes, they will fit. I compared a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 with the 6-1/2' bed to a 2004 GMC Sierra 2500 with a 6-1/2' bed. Each of these vehicles is compatible with the BAK Revolver X2 Hard Tonneau Cover - Roll Up - Aluminum and Vinyl, part # BAK39101, and the BAK Revolver X4s Hard Tonneau Cover - Roll Up - Aluminum and Vinyl - Matte Black, part # BAK62FR.
They BAK Revolver X2, part # BAK39120, you attached to your question is compatible with the 2014-2018 Silverado/Sierra with 5-1/2' bed.
