What is the width of the cradles? My wife has a beach bike that doesnt have single top tube.

The width of the cradles on the etrailer 4 Bike Rack for 2" Hitches # e98913 measures out to 8-1/2". If the frame of your wife's bike won't allow it to fit on this rack properly then it sounds like you're needing a bike frame adapter bar like part # 64005. This adapter bar loops around the handlebar and seat posts to give a horizontal top tube so it's easier to install your bike on this rack.
