It is important to know the exact tongue weight of your trailer plus the weight of any cargo that is loaded behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle when choosing a weight distribution system. You will want to choose a system that can handle the tongue weight of your towing setup. I have attached a link to an FAQ article on how to determine your tongue weight.

I have attached a link to our weight distribution systems that are compatible with both surge brakes, and electric over hydraulic brake systems. I have also attached an FAQ article for weight distribution.

For a system that is compatible with both surge brakes and electric over hydraulic systems brakes, I recommend looking at the Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution Systems. These systems have integrated friction sway control, and require no drilling to install. Based on the figures you provided I would look at part # RP66561. This system has a GTW capacity of 14,000 lbs, and a tongue weight capacity of 1,400 lbs.

The hitch balls are not included with this system. If you need a 2 inch hitch ball I would recommend part # A-90, and for a 2-5/16 inch ball, part # C40030.
