Can I Use My Motorhomes Factory Brake Controller when Flat-Towing a Vehicle?

we are purchasing a motorhome that has a brake controller in the cab. Is there a brake system for the toad that can utilize the motor homes brake controller.

I have a great braking solution for you. Unfortunately, when flat-towing a vehicle, you need a completely different braking system than a brake controller. This is known as a supplemental braking system, and it is designed specifically for flat-towing applications. I went ahead and linked a FAQ article that goes through all of the different variables of the systems.
One of the most common supplemental braking system is a proportional system. This means that the system applies the brakes in towed vehicle with an intensity that matches your braking action in the motorhome. If you plan to go this route, I recommend the Brake Buddy 3 # HM39494. The brake buddy 3 is a lightweight, portable system is easy to position, adjust, and remove.
