Question:
I need an aluminum wheel for my 2009 Cardinal 30TS RV that will take 110psi. I have been told that I can use my original wheels. All I had to do was put a stainless steel valve stem in. Cant find anything on the wheel that states what air pressure it will take. It does say max load capacity is 3042 lbs. NEED HELP

We do offer the Americana # AM20906 bolt-in chrome-plated brass valve stem for 100-psi-and-above pressure applications. I suggest contacting Forest River with your trailer VIN number to confirm if the stock rims can safely be fitted with these valves.
The Forest River website does not indicate specifications for their 2009 Cardinal 30TS 5th wheel, however the wheel/tire size on all of their current Cardinal Series RVs is 235/80R16E, and the stock hubs and rims are all 8-on-6-1/2 bolt pattern types.
I spoke to a technical contact at Forest River who advised that the axles on the 2009 Cardinal 30TS are rated for 6000-lbs and use 6-on-5-1/2 bolt pattern hubs.
We do offer a number of wheels in the 16 x 7 inch size with 6-on-5-1/2 bolt pattern but none is rated at 110 psi. The highest-rated rim is 85-lbs psi. Those wheels can be seen on the provided link; the part you reviewed # AM22657 is one of the three.
The technical contact at Forest River indicated that in order to use 110-lb-rated tires on your Cardinal you will need to change your hubs and rims to an 8-on-6-1/2 bolt pattern type.
