In order to install a kayak carrier on your RX350, you will need to start with a set of crossbars on your roof, if you do not already have them. If you click the link I have provided, you can see the various crossbar systems available for your vehicle.

As long as you have the factory rails on your Lexus a basic crossbar system can be assembled using the Thule 47 inch SquareBars, part # TH712200 and the Evo raised rail feet, part # TH710401.

Once the crossbars are in place, a kayak carrier can be installed. The Thule Hull-A-Port you referenced, part # TH834 would be an excellent choice for you. The rack will fit factory, round, square or elliptically shaped crossbars. The carrier can handle kayaks weighing up to 75 lbs, and the rack is capable of folding down when not in use to allow maximum overhead clearance. The carrier includes straps to secure the kayak to the carrier as well as ratcheting bow and stern tie downs to secure the kayak to the vehicle.

I also recommend the Thule Hood Loops, part # TH529. The loops attach under the hood and rear hatch of the vehicle and would provide a quick and easy tie-down point for the bow and stern tie-downs. You might also be interested in a tire step like part # HE4040 that would make accessing your roof top cargo safer and easier.
