Installing Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller On a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LD

Question:

Can not find plug for brake controller. I have seen your pics on where it should be on a 2019 Silverado. But there just isn’t one there or I can’t find it. My truck is a LD Silverado does that matter. ?? Do I have to take dash apart. I can’t find the plug. Please help. I have controller with the right 14 pin female end I believe. You have more pics of location ? Ugh. Frustrating. Lol. Thx again.

The Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 3016 is the correct adapter to connect to the factory brake controller on your 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LD. This connector only has 4 pins versus the 14 pin harness # 3064-P that fits the redesigned 2019 Silverado 1500.

I have linked an installation video below that will show the installation of the Prodigy P3 # 90195 with the correct pigtail # 3016 on your Silverado. The factory connection is located behind the cover on firewall on your Silverado.
