Question:
I have a 2021 Ford Ranger Lariat with factory tow package, and a Tekonsha P3 brake controller. What cable do I need to connect the controller to the truck?

All you need to wire your Prodigy P3 brake controller # 90195 to your 2021 Ford Ranger is the brake controller as there isn't a port/connector under dash and instead is 4 wires that you'd wire controller to. Look under dash to the left of the brake pedal for wires with shrink tubing on them.
Based on my research these 4 wires will be blue, yellow/red, white/purple, and white in color. The blue wire goes to the blue brake output wire on the P3, the yellow/red wire is for 12V power and goes to the black wire on the controller, the white wire goes to the white ground wire on the controller, and the white/purple wire goes to the red brake input wire on the controller.
