I have an answer for you to determine what replacement hardware you need. I saw that you recently ordered the Replacement Mounting Hardware Kit for Aries Grille Guard # AABRKT-3059 from us. Unfortunately, that bracket system, as you probably noticed when fitting it, will only work with the Aries Grille Guard # AA3059. This Aries Grille Guard will not fit your 2004 GMC Sierra and it sadly will not work with your Westin brush guard.
The frustration that comes with finding correct replacement mounting hardware comes from the fact that manufacturers only produce specific mounting hardware for individual models of grille guards for individual years/makes/models of vehicles. For this reason, an Aries mounting hardware kit will not work with a Westin grille guard and vice versa. Also, to complicate matters more, mounting hardware that are designed for specific Westin Grille Guards like # 40-1225 will not fit other years/models of trucks. This is why buying secondhand grille guards is generally not recommended.
For more perspective, the only grille guard made by Westin that we carry that will fit your truck is the # 40-1225.
All this being said, the best way forward is to determine what exact model of Westin grille guard you have. Once we have that, we can determine if the grille guard is manufactured to fit your 2004 GMC Sierra 1500. After that is established, I will happily assist you in providing you with the correct mounting hardware you need after you provide me with the Westin model you own.
