What Should 1/2 Inch Lug Nuts on a Trailer Tire be Torqued To

Question:

What is the torque spec for these wheel/tire combo. I was having a hard time getting one to torque down. I even tried different lug nuts, but still had issues. I then switched out the hub and was able to get a decent amount of torque on them.

For a 1/2 inch lug nut which is what is used on the Kenda KR25 ST145R12 Radial Trailer Tire with 12 inch Aluminum Wheel, # AM31208, you will torque then down to 75-85 foot pounds.
