Can the usb outlets and 12v cigarette lighter be wired in parallel, or do they need their own 12v power source on a separate fuse?

You can definitely wire the ports of the Diamond 12V Charging Station # DG61023VP in parallel. However, you will want to make sure the source you are using can handle the draw without tripping a circuit breaker. If it can, you are good to go. If it can't, you will want to run a separate source. I included an install video of this being wired for you to check out as well. We did run it in parallel off of a 12 volt light switch.
