Hi, so with the Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Trailer Brake Controller being mounted on the trailer, will it detect trailer sway and automatically help correct it by activating the trailer brake?

The Tekonsha # TK94FR Prodigy RF is a wireless brake controller that will actuate your trailer brakes when the brakes of the tow vehicle are used, but it is not a sway control device in and of itself. That being said, the manual override can be used during a sway event to operate the trailer's brakes independently of the vehicle's brakes which can stop the trailer from swaying.
To add a dedicated sway control system, you'll need to add an additional component like the Tuson # 335TSC-1000. This system detects trailer movement and uses your trailer brakes to correct sway, and is compatible with the Prodigy RF.
