Troubleshooting Furrion AC Unit Cycling On and Off

Question:

Furrion 15,000 compressor shuts off after 4 minutes. About 3 minutes layer it turns on again. The compressor cycles about every 4 minutes. So the inside temperature takes a long time to go down. What can cause this?

I do have a handful of things that you can check to help keep your Furrion 15,000 AC Unit like part # FR58PR from cycling.

Start off checking some of the easy stuff like the air filter and your wiring connections. Clean or change out the air filter if it is dirty and clean up/repair any damaged wiring or connections.

After this you'll want to check to see if the unit is freezing and having to thaw out before it turns on again. Other possible problems might be a bad thermostat or a bad control board.

If this is a newer unit then I would definitely take it in to get serviced under that 2-year warranty.
