For a 2017 Ram 1500 with a 5/5' bed you'll definitely need to use a sidewinder pin box or Demco Sliding hitch # DM8550040 to prevent the nose of your 2015 KZ Durango D296BH from coming into contact with the cab of your truck. To find a compatible sidewinder pin box for your trailer you'll need to know the bolt pattern of the current pin box. Typically there is a sticker with the model number, serial number, etc. on it that can be used to find out the bolt pattern. If you do not have any identifiers on your current pin box you can follow the steps in the attached help guide article to determine what pin box you have.
Once you know what you have you can then find the sidewinder with the matching bolt pattern. For example the Reese Sidewinder 5th Wheel King Pin with Rotating Turret # RP34FR you were looking at will fit a Fabex 663, Fabex 665, Lippert 0719, Lippert 1621, Lippert 1621HD, M&M 663, and an M&M 665 bolt pattern. With your GVWR only being around 10,500lbs I recommend going with a 16k sidewinder instead like the # RP61422.
For the fifth wheel hitch to go along with your sidewinder pin box I recommend the Reese M5 5th Wheel # RP30928 with rails # RP30035-523. You will also need wedge # 201100 to work with rotating pin box.
