Can You Gain LED Turn Signal Functions If You Switch To Towing Mirrors With That Function

Question:

i have read on other forums that since i have heated mirrors now and power to move mirrors the urn signal hookup will work? right now mine are not trailer mirrors but are heated and power ?

When you replace the factory mirrors with extended towing mirrors like the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirror - Electric/Heat w LED Signal # KS62094G you're only going to have the same functions that you're wired for. For example if you didn't have the heat function you wouldn't gain it by adding these mirrors. Each function is going to have a pin going into the connector so your 2010 Chevy Silverado has a small chance of being wired with that function, which would explain others "gaining" the function, but was only given standard mirrors.
