Question:
Can you back-up a couple of yards with any or some brake system in use, just enough to get out of a tight spot you may have gotten yourself. I am looking at InvisiBrake, Patriot 3, Brake Buddy 3 just to name a few...!? Thanks.

Reversing the RV with a vehicle attached for flat towing is not something I can advise. This will damage the tow bars and will almost immediately cause a jackknife to occur, which can also damage the RV and or towed vehicle. I highly recommend disconnecting the towed vehicle and reverse it by itself before reversing the motorhome.
With all that being said, I am preferable to the permanently installed systems and the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700 is one I recommend. Though you will need to install the Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400 as well, this will be a one time set up system and will not need to be messed with when towing or disconnected when not.
