Bike Rack That Can Mount on A-Frame Trailer
Published 09/10/2021 >
Question:
My tongue has round bars, not square like the rack attaches to . Can I use this rack with the round bars on the front? Is there a model that is better for round tongue bars to attach? thanks.

Thank you for the photo, and while we do have an option for a bike rack that can mount to your A-frame trailer, the Hitch-It 2 Bike Rack # LC731138 is for straight tongue trailers so won't work with your trailer that has an A-frame. Instead, there is a similar option called the "Jack-It":
- Jack-It 2 Bike Rack for A-Frame Trailers - 22-1/2" Jack Clearance # LC429756
This will install using the same bolt holes as your A-frame jack, and only requires 22-1/2" clearance above trailer frame where the jack is, which I am confident you have with your Lippert jack, though I do recommend measuring just to be sure.
The Jack-It # LC429756 has an 80 lb capacity which will accommodate the majority of bikes, and is a wheel-mounted rack which means your bikes' frame are going to be safe from contact with the rack, helping protect them.
