Can Aluminum Liger Trailer Wheel LH97FR Handle 110 PSI With 15 Ply Tires?

Question:

There is some debate as to whether or not these wheels with the appropriate high pressure valve stems are OK with 110 psi tires. I installed Transeagle 15 ply trailer tires great tires and they call for 110 psi cold. I have the Liger 6 spoke, six lug wheels. Am I Ok?

The Aluminum Liger Trailer Wheel - 16" x 6" Rim - 6 on 5-1/2 - Black # LH97FR you have installed on your trailer should not have a PSI rating as this is typically limited by the valve stem, not the wheel.

As long as you are using a quality high pressure valve stem like the # AM20906 rated for over 100 PSI you will have no issues running 110 PSI with them.
