Question:
Im carrying camping gear inside my prius with back seat laid down. I was wanting a net to cover over the load in case of an accident things wouldnt fly around and hit us. The cargo area is about 6foot x5foot then of course needs netting enough to continue down the sides to where Ill be able to hook on. There are 4 rings in the back area of the car and for stuff behind the front seats I was thinking Id need to tuck the net around or maybe just use rope to secure it to the forward most rings in the back. Also it would seem bungee type netting might have too much play in case of an accident. My friend taught me about securing things in case of an accident. I dont think many people worry about this.

A small cargo net like # EM01010 might do the trick. When it is stretched will about double in size. If the material is taught when installed then it being stretchy should not be an issue. Even if there were some slack in a stretch net, a thick and strong material might have some play but would keep items under its grasp.
Securing cargo stored in a vehicle is something a lot of people are unaware of. I have not been hit by anything but I know it happens more often than people think. Keep spreading the word!
