Will a SeaSucker Vacuum Cup Mount Work on a Surf Board?

Question:
Hi everybody! My son saw a killer whale recently while surfing of Ocean Beach in San Francisco. I thought a GoPro camera would be a great birthday present but I dont see them on the site anymore. Would this attach to a surf board? Its an entry level Olian board. I miss you guys. Hope all is well!
