I may have a solution to the potential clearance issue with your 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the T@B Nucamp 400 Tear Trailer. The solution is an extended ball like the Brophy Ball Mount - 3" Rise, 4" Drop - 14-5/8" Long - Aluminum - 8,000 lbs # EA40. An extended ball mount will give you extra room between your vehicle and trailer.
I have attached a link to the extended ball mounts that we offer.
You will need a pin to attach the ball mount to your hitch, I recommend the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" Hitches - 3-1/2" Span # 63232. I recommend this pin because it reduces the rattle between the ball mount and hitch, and it is also going to give you a little tighter connection.
You will also need a hitch ball, I recommend the 2" Hitch Ball - 1" Diameter x 2-1/8" Long Shank - Chrome - 7,500 lbs # 63845. I recommend this ball because it is a standard size ball, fitting most tow bars.
