We have a hitch solution for you. You'll first need an adapter that's compatible with the factory pucks in your Ram 2500. The Reese # RP30154 puck adapter would be a great choice that will provide the rails for a 5th wheel hitch to install on. For the hitch, the Demco # DM8550043 21K Recon would work perfectly with the rail adapter recommended above.

In addition to the single piece wrap-around jaw that prevents the king pin from moving about in the hitch, and the dampened head that helps isolate the tow vehicle from road shock, the hitch easily breaks down into two pieces for easy install and removal by one person.

In order to use the Recon with your Turning Point rotating pin box, you'd need to install the # SWW-05 wedge to the underside of the pin box arm, rearward of the king pin to prevent the king pin from rotating in the hitch jaws.

All these parts are compatible, and would indeed provide a safe 5th wheel towing solution for you.

If you wish to install a 7-way connector in the truck bed so you don't have to run the trailer connector cable up over the tailgate, you can install one using part # C56000.
