Comparing etrailer Trailer Hitch e65ZR and Curt CU89FR For 2021 Subaru Outback Wagon

Im looking to add a trailer hitch to my 2021 Subaru Outback. How does the etrailer hitch e65ZR compare to the Curt hitch Item # CU89FR, 13437? Does Curt make the hitch for etrailer?

The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e65ZR and Curt # CU89FR you were looking at for your 2021 Subaru Outback Wagon are the exact same design with the with the same ratings of 600lbs tongue weight and 4000lb trailer weight so you cannot go wrong with either option. Our trailer hitch receiver is made for us by Curt. The difference between these hitches is the etrailer hitch has a matte black powder coat finish to better blend in with the plastic trim on your Outback where the Curt hitch has gloss black powder coating that doesn't blend in quite as well.
Due to that difference I recommend going with the # e65ZR.
If you are planning on towing a trailer with your Outback you will also need a vehicle wiring harness # 118467 and a ball mount, hitch ball, and hitch pin and clip which can all be found in the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900.
