Typically when people carry a motorized wheelchair like the one for your wife, they use a carrier similar to the Flint Hill Goods 29" x 49" Carrier w/ 60" Ramp - 2" Hitch - 500 lbs # FHG69ZR which has a ramp to load the wheel chair, and a high weight capacity at 500lbs.
For your 2012 Lexus RX 350 the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75676 has a tongue weight rating of 400lbs, and since the # FHG69ZR weighs 77 lbs that would allow you to carry 323lbs, however, this will be even lower because you Lexus capacity is lower.
However, based on the information I was able to find on your 2012 Lexus RX 350 its tongue weight capacity is 220lbs if it does not have the towing package, or 385lbs if it does have the towing package. You will need to subtract the 77 pounds from your capacity and make sure your wheelchair is less than that number. If your capacity is 220 lbs, this would only leave 143 pounds for your wheelchair. If your capacity is 385 pounds, you would have 308 pounds for you chair.
You will need to make sure that the weight of the carrier you are planning on using and the weight of the wheelchair does not exceed the ratings of either the vehicle or the hitch, whichever is lower.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
