Question:
I have a 2009 Toyota Matrix XRS and want to install a hitch with a 2 receiver so I can use my Thule fold away bike rack. I am willing to remove the rear spoiler if necessary. Will this, or the Draw-tite multi-fit, or any other 2 hitch work? Thanks, Bryan Wisher

There are no 2 inch hitches available for a 2009 Toyota Matrix, however we do have a solution for you. We have 1-1/4 inch hitches for your Matrix and a nice adapter for making your 2 inch bike rack work with 1-1/4 inch receivers.
First you will need a hitch. The Draw-Tite, part # 24812, has a high customer rating and would work just fine for a bike rack and includes a pin and clip. We even have a video of one of these hitches being installed on a 2009 Matrix, I have added a link to it.
Since this hitch is a 1-1/4 inch hitch, and your bike rack is for a 2 inch hitch, you will need an adapter. The part # HTAD is the adapter for your hitch. You will need a 5/8 inch pin and clip to hold your bike rack in to this adapter. The part # PC3 is the pin and clip you would need.
If theft of your rack is a concern, you get lock pins instead. The part # 5200 and # e98880 would be good locks to lock your adapter to your hitch and your bike rack to your adapter.
Please note that since this hitch is a Class I, it has a maximum towing weight of 2,000 pounds and a maximum tongue weight of 200 pounds. This means that your bike rack and bikes must weight 200 pounds or less total. I would consider hauling no more than 2 bikes.
