Question:
Hello. I’m planning a trip half way across the country and I was planning on taking my bike. I have a 2016 Mazda 3 isport. I plan on buying this hitch but I’m curious if you guys think my car will handle the weight of a motorcycle carrier with it or if it is even a good ideas to try it.

I can confirm the Draw-Tite # 24912 will fit your 2016 Mazda 3 iSport and included an install video for you to take a look at.
That being said, this is a Class I hitch and is only rated up to 200 pounds of tongue weight. So depending on how much the motorcycle carrier and motorcycle weigh together will determine if it will be able to be carried or not. With the low tongue weight, it may end up being better to tow a small trailer with the motorcycle on that.
It should also be noted that hitches can be rated higher than a vehicle though. Before you go either way, there is a sticker/label on the inside door jamb of the driver side door. This will tell you the capacities of the vehicle.
