How To Convert 6-Round Trailer Connector on Winnebago Adventurer to 4-Way Flat

Question:

hello, i have a 99 winnebago adventurer with this ?? broken tow plug. i want to replace it. the wires are 4 purple and one green so i cant identify left right or ground?? what do you suggest i swap it to? i eventually want to tow a vehicle but now only want to tow a utility trailer with 4 way flat plug.

It looks like you might have a 6-round trailer connector on the RV. This is best identified by the pin orientation. If it's indeed what you have then you can use the Mighty Cord 6-Way Round to 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector Adapter part # A10-7264VP to tow a trailer with a standard 4-way flat trailer connector.

Please note, you'll want to clean the connectors of the corrosion before mating.
