Is there any way to convert formthe 4pole flat conector on the wiring harness to the the 7 pole round connector on the back of my hitch? That way I can have lights for either 4 pole or 7 pole trailers. I understand this does not accomodate brakes on the 7 pole.

Yes, you can convert the 4-way on the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118605 which is a fit for a 2018 Jeep Cherokee to both a 4 and 7-way. In order to do this you'll need the 4 to 7-Way with 4-Way Adapter part # ETBC7L.
