The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e78KR you were looking at for your 2005 Honda Element is made in the USA, but the mounting hardware may be imported.
The etrailer hitch has a 350lb tongue weight rating and 3500lb trailer weight rating and an attractive black matte finish.
If you are planning on towing with your Element you will also need a vehicle wiring harness # C59236 and a hitch ball, ball mount, and hitch pin and clip which can all be found in the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900.
I included installations instructions for all of the product mentioned.
