Question:
I have a jeep which came with side bars that are close to the body of the jeep. The step up into tht jeep is a bit high is there a way to lower the bars already there? Can this product be added to the vehicle to give a lower step in all 4 door areas to get in and out of the Jeep? Are these available at the Jeep dealer or only on the web site?

According to the folks at Carr, the OEM step bars you currently have would most likely interfere with the Carr steps. I am unaware of any longer brackets that would lower your bars, I would recommend you check with your Jeep dealer.
Your best bet would be to remove your existing steps and install the a set of # CARR101241 hoops. According to Carr, the step portion of the hoops would sit about 5-1/2 inches below the rocker panels. The steps are sold in sets of 2, for all four doors you would need two sets. I do not know if they are available from the dealer.
The # CARR102551 steps you referenced is for Jeep models through 2006, and would not fit your 2012 model.
