Can I Use a VueSMART RV and Trailer Backup Camera with Furrion Trailer Pre-Wiring

My Jayco TT is prewired for a Furron ? back up camera - there is a bracket in the back into which the camera would be installed. Does the Vue Smart work for that? Anything that needs to be done to make it work? Thanks

Even though your Jayco TT is pre-wired for a Furrion backup camera system, you could technically splice into the wiring and install something like the VueSMART Universal Mount # HM34FR. You would either cut the Furrion plug off and wire in the VueSMART or you could use some Quick Splices # SWC502905-1 behind the plug for a bit cleaner installation. You also won't be able to utilize the Furrion mounting bracket, but the VueSMART comes with a bracket included and it will connect to an app on your iOS or Android smartphone so you don't need a monitor.
You'll have to test the wiring behind your Furrion pre-wiring with a circuit tested to determine what the power source is for the available wiring.
