Adding A Second AC Unit To A 2018 Forest River Forester Motorhome

Question:
I have a Flagstaff Forester 3011DSF motorhome. It is currently equipped with a single 15,000 btu heatpump. The coach is 30 amp. a. Is it possible to add the AT15033=22 2nd AC unit to the coach? b. I understand it is equipped with the EZ Start power management system and is basically a plug and play installation. c. Is it DIY or something I should have dealer installed. d. Do you recommend a differeny AC unit other than the one above? Thank you,

To run a second AC unit you're going to need a 50amp system to power both AC units at the same time. I recommend the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Single Zone - 15,000 Btu - White Item # FR55PV as it's the best overall unit compared to the Atwood and Advent units. You can install it yourself, but AC unit installations can be pretty involved so it's really up to how mechanically inclined you are.
