Determining The Correct High/Low Hitch Adapter To Level Your Tow Bar

Question:
I will be towing a 2016 Jeep wrangler 2 door behind a 4WD RV that is elevated a few inches. I have a down receiver for the Curt tow bar from the RV. Question is, how many inches of elevation up or down is allowable to be using the tow bar from the flat position being perfect height?

The range is within 3" of level of your Curt Rambler Steel Tow Bar for Curt and Blue Ox Base Plates - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 7,500lbs Item # C26FR. We have a very helpful guide for determining everything you'll need when choosing your high/low adapter that I've attached. I've also attached our page of High/Low Adapters for you to choose from incase you need different size than what you already have.
