I have a 2020 Forester with side rails and I want to pack two golf bags of clubs in a roof top carrier. would the Curt Roof Rack Rails work okay and would you recommend the Thule or the Yakima 16 Cu. ft. carrier?

The Curt Roof Rack for Raised Side Rails, part # C18118, are an excellent choice for your 2020 Subaru Forester and will work well with a cargo box.
Both the Yakima and Thule boxes will work fine, but I recommend the Thule Force XT XL Rooftop Cargo Box, part # TH6358B. It has 18 cubic feet, giving it more space to accommodate golf bags than a 16 cubic-foot box.
