Are the K-Source Replacement Side Mirrors Textured and Can They Be Painted

Question:

Hello, Is the shell of this mirror plastic textured or smooth? The reason I am asking is because my painter said that he doesnt recommend painting a textured shell. Every mirror that I have received from Dorman has had a textured shell even the ones they advertised as paintable and had to return. Thank you,

The K-Source Replacement Side Mirrors like part # KS60041C are textured like all other replacement side mirror housings. They can still be painted but you'd need to use a plastic adhesion promoter.
