Recommended Hard Tonneau Cover That Is Compatible With Adarac Aluminum Truck Bed Ladder Rack

Question:

I would like to purchase this Rack, but I cannot verify that it is compatible with my Extang Solid Fold truck bed cover. I have a 2105 Chevy Colorado, and I purchased the Extang Solid Fold at the time I purchased the truck. Can you advise? Thank You

Since the Extang solid fold bed cover on your 2015 Chevy Colorado / 2015 GMC Canyon mounts on top of the bed rails, it is unfortunately not compatible with a ladder rack. You will need a tonneau cover that mounts inside the bed rails so that the ladder rack can utilize the top of the bed rails. While I'm sure this isn't the news you were wanting to hear, I will go ahead and give you a recommendation for a new bed cover that will work with the Adarac Aluminum Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack - Aluminum - 500 lbs # A4001226 that you were interested in.

I would look into the Extang Xceed Hard Tonneau Cover - Folding - Aluminum - Vinyl - Black Matte # EX85355. This mounts to the inside of the truck bed rails and is the only Extang hard tonneau cover that is going to be compatible with ladder racks. This is a really nice low-profile cover that is waterproof so you don't have to worry about your cargo getting wet. It offers a simple bolt-on installation process that requires no drilling.
