Replacement of iRV RV Stereo

Published 03/30/2021

Question:

I have an Irv 32 v2 unit in my rv trailer and the Dvd has failed. Do you have this unit or something similar that would fit in the same hole and if so how hard would it be to swap out?

We have the iRV RV Stereo # 292-101079 system that plays audio from radio signals, CDs, DVDs, and devices connected through Bluetooth, an auxiliary cord, or a USB cord. You will need to verify the cut out measurements of your current system for best fit. From information available to me I show a face measurement, for your current unit, of 7-7/8" long by 5-1/2" tall, but do not show a cut out dimension. This replacement unit, # 292-101079, is 9" long by 5" tall and 5" in depth. With overall dimensions of 10-3/8" long by 7" tall and 5-3/8" in depth. Should use the same wiring so easy install there just check the cutout measurements for any modification that may be needed.

Another great option would be the Jensen RV Stereo, AUX/USB, Bluetooth, jControl - 12V, # JWM60A. This unit is 9" long by 6" tall and 5-1/2" in depth. With overall dimensions of 10-7/16" long by 7" tall and 6-1/2" in depth.

Both are good options with great reviews, the iRV slightly higher. I suggest the iRV model. But consider the cutout measurements too for ease of installation.
