Determining If ST235/85R16 TTWA16RGWSHD Will Fit 2020 Grand Design Solitude

Question:
I’m looking to replace the Westlake 235/80R16s on our 2020 Solitude 310GK 15000 GVWR with the larger tire size 255/85R16. I have two concerns: will they fit does the load range difference matter. Can you please help with these concerns of mine? Also, when I order them from eTrailer, can the OEM Ford TPMS sensors be installed? Thank you

It is definitely possible that the Provider ST235/85R16 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range G Item # TTWPRG235R16 you were looking at will be able to fit your 2020 Grand Design Solitude 310GK but to confirm this you will need to take a few measurements.
The ST235/85R16 is just under 1" taller than your current tire, but since only 1/2" will be on the top of the tire you will want to make sure that from the top of your current tires to the bottom of the fender is at least 4.5" as any less could limit the suspension travel with the new tires installed. They are the same width of 9.25"
The # TTWPRG235R16 has a load capacity of 4400lbs each so using 4 would give you a total load capacity of 17600lbs. Since your trailer has a GVWR of 15000lbs this will be plenty.
Lastly to add OEM Ford TPMS sensors you would need to take the wheels to a local tire shop as these wheel and tire combinations come preinstalled from the manufacturer, and we do not have the required tools to add the sensors for you.
