Is There Advantage to Collar Lok Style Couplers Over Other Styles

Hello - What are some reasons to replace a standard Atwood-like coupler with Bulldog Collar-Lok Coupler w/ Pin - 2 Ball - Adjustable Channel Mount - 7,000 lbs Item # BD028390? My application is 4500# MT travel trailer which has an Atwood-like coupler. Is the bulldog easier to hitch to? thanks

I really like the Bulldog Collar Lok style couplers like the channel mount part # BD028390 that you referenced. Over the years I've towed with trailer with all of the different styles of couplers latches and I've yet to find a Collar Lok style coupler give me trouble either releasing the latching mechanism or anything else. With the other designs they are just prone to getting corroded or gunked up to the point they are challenging to get to release or use in general. The simple and heavy duty design of the Collar Lok couplers stands up to all of that and just works without issue.
