How To Carry A Bike Rack And Tow Trailer With 2012 Dodge Journey

Question:
I have a detail k2 mmt 4 x 6 trailer. Can i install a 2 inch receiver to the rear of the trailer like a bumper hitch to tow a hitch bike rack as well. I cant use a dual receiver because my ball mount is inverted to rise so there isnt space to add a bike rack.

There isn't a way to add a hitch to the Detail K2 Utility Trailer # K2MMT4X6, but you can still carry your bikes while towing. It looks like you have a 2012 Dodge Journey, so what you can do is add a trunk-mounted bike rack to your vehicle so you can carry your bikes while still allowing the use of your trailer.
For a budget-friendly but effective option I recommend the Thule Passage 2-Bike Carrier # TH910XT.
The Passage is easy to install with what is called a "Fit Dial" system so all you have to do is adjust the dial to the correct number for your Journey to ensure the base of the rack is in the right position, attach the straps, then load your bikes up.
