Rail and Hitch for Western Star Tractor to Tow Fifth Wheel Trailer

Question:
I have a customer buying a 2021 Western Star 49X class 8 4X2 tractor and wants to haul his 29 Redwood 5th wheel trailer. The frame width on the Western Star is 34 OD. Do you make a custom hitch mount to fit? and which hitch would you recommend. My customer wants a double oscillating hitch.

We don't have any custom fit rail kits for the Western Star but if you're okay with drilling a universal rail kit like the part # RP30035 would be your best option. Then for a 20k hitch with a pivoting head which I believe is what you customer is asking about the Reese M5 part # RP30928 would be a really great option that's easy to use and very quiet since it has a very tight fitting jaw design.
