Question:
I recently purchased a used reese sliding 5th wheel hitch, it came with no rails or frame mounts. What would be the correct kit to install this hitch on a 2008 Chevrolet 2500 crew cab short body Thanks

Expert Reply:
The fifth wheel installation kit I would recommend for your Reese # RP30051 in your 2008 Chevy Silverado would be the Reese Fifth Wheel Installation Kit # RP56007-53. This kit is a custom install kit that would install in about half the time as a universal kit and will minimize drilling.
