How to Install the Replacement Aeroblad Shim for Older Thule Hullavators on an Aero Bar

Question:

I think this is the product I need. Thule Accessories and Parts - TH56JV You have a video explaining but cant quite picture it in my head. Do you have photos or more visuals on how this fits. Thanks

We do not have any photos or visuals on how the Replacement Aeroblade Shim for Thule Hullavator Kayak Carrier, part # TH56JV, attaches, but I can explain it for you.

The curved portion is meant to attach upward into the bottom of your older Hullavator where the mounting portion of the older adapter would.

The two straight edges underneath the adapter are then meant to mount into the T-slot of your aero bars. The M6 bolt will go through the hole with a washer between its head and the top of the adapter.

The bolt will then go into the square nut that is placed inside the T-slot to tighten in place.
