Why Won't the RockyMounts Truck Bed Track for Fork Mount Bike Racks Fit on 6-1/2 or 8 Foot Beds

Do you know why this says it only fits the Ford 5 1/2 foot bed?

I may have a solution, but I checked with my contact over at RockyMounts and when it comes to the # RKY10996 the tie down positions on the longer beds are different; this means the orientation does not work for the 6-1/2 or 8ft to allow you to install the RockyMounts Truck Bed Track for Fork Mount Bike Racks # RKY10996. You will need a 5-1/2 foot bed to use this rack.
However, if you have a 6-1/2 of 8 foot bed on your 2016 Ford F-150 you can use the Swagman Patrol 2 Bike Rack for Truck Beds - Fork Mount # S64701. It's going to be really similar to the RockyMounts fork mounted rack, so I think it's a great alternative to allow you to mount up to 4 bikes in your truck bed.
