Roof Rack and Cargo Box Recommendations for a 2016 Jeep Compass

Hello, Ive never bought/installed a roof rack before so bear with me... Im looking to install a cargo carrier on my 2016 Jeep Compass. It only has the stock roof mounted rails that came with the vehicle... so I dont have any of the mounting components or a cargo holder. I think ive narrowed it down to the Thule Force XT XL or XXL, but I dont know what products ill need all together to accomplish this. If you could provide any insight/point me in the right direction of what products ill need I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

We have what you need here.
For your roof rack, I recommend the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars, part # RRVA137B-2. They're aero-style bars so they are compatible with most accessories (including the Force XTs) while keeping wind drag and noise to a minimum. I've linked to a video review of these crossbars for you to look at.
To mount the crossbars to your roof, you will need the Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Legs, part # RRRLKVA, and the Custom DK Fit Kit for 4 Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack Legs, part # DK254.
As for your cargo box, I recommend going with the Thule Force XT XXL, part # TH6359B. You'll really appreciate that extra space when you get used to travelling with a bunch of gear. I've linked to a video review of this box as well.
