Considering Taylor Made foam dock bumper, 36x5x3.25. Will this increase stability of floating dock if I install it at the waterline? Thank you!

A foam dock bumper such as the Taylor Made Foam Dock Bumper - Edge Mount - 36" Long x 5" Tall x 3-1/4" Thick # 36946011 you asked about will do a wonderful job of protecting your boat from your floating dock, but it isn't going to do much, if anything at all, in regards to stabilizing it. The best way to do that is going to be with some type of anchor system instead.

The bumper will be a nice addition to your dock to keep your boat in great shape though, and is simple to install with its pre-drilled holes. I have added a link below to a video review for you to check out as well of the Taylor Made Foam Dock Bumper # 36946011.

I also wanted to add that there are matching corner bumpers that are the same 5 inch height and 3-1/4 inch thickness, the Taylor Made Foam Dock Corner Bumper # 36945984.
