Question:

Great information, thank you. When doing a search for my vehicle on your site, the Redarc tow-pro elite controller showed up. I'm asking about it because I like the knob controller and I can mount the controller under the dash. I know it's more than twice the cost, but I wanted to verify that they work well and you haven't seen any issues. Also, what is your return policy? Thanks again

We have several brake controllers to use with your 2018 Lexus GX 460. I recommend the Tekonsha Primus IQ, part # TK90160. This hooks up to your brake controller harness using the custom wiring adapter, part # 3040-P.

Without knowing what kind of dash plate you have or it's dimensions, I cannot say if this controller will fit with it. I've linked to a video installation of this controller so you can see if it can install the way you want it.

The Redarc Tow-Pro Elite, part # RED44FR, is a great brake controller that has had no complaints from our customers so far. I have not heard of any issues to-date. In fact, it's rated higher than many of our other brake controllers, so people definitely love having it. If you go with this harness you also need the adapter harness # 331-TPH-017 which allows the # 3040-P to plug into the Redarc controller.
