I need a little help on connecting 3 6volt batteries

What is the output voltage you are wanting? 12 volts? 18 volts?
With battery banks if you wire them up in series the voltage of each battery gets added so you'd have 18 volts with 3 6-volt batteries and in parallel the voltage stays the same but the amperage increases.
