Question:

Hello, I would like to lay the 30 gallon tank flat in the back of my truck. Can I install a fill port on top of the tank and are a the existing holes threaded ? Thanks

You will have no problems laying the Valterra RV Water Tank - Non-Toxic - ABS Plastic - 60" x 8" x 16" - 30 Gallons # R8060 you mentioned flat in the bed of your truck as long as you make a bracket to keep it from moving around. There is 3/8" threaded fittings on each side for your mount to attach to, but adding straps to go over the tank would be a good idea to keep it secure.

For a fill kit you will need to add one yourself using Valterra ABS Tank Fill Kit # RK908 since there is not a fill fitting installed on the tank.
